about
Stelco (Formerly U.S. Steel Canada) wanted to make a comeback with a rebrand that emphasized their Canadian heritage and strong history returning as an independent Canadian steelmaker. The rebranded logo is a contemporary take on their 1929 logo, simplifying the lines and updating the fonts to create a fresh look to an old brand.
As part of the launch, I created and illustrated a cover of Stelco Flashes, an internal publication that ran during it’s history. This cover was a way to promote the launch and emphasize the return of a strong legacy.
